Disclosure & Medical Disclaimer

Transparency is the foundation of Night Time Comfort. Before you dive into my guides, reviews, and protocols, it is critical that you understand who I am, how this content is created, and the limitations of the information provided here.

1. I Am Not a Doctor. I Am a Patient.

I, Alex Warenstein, am not a medical doctor, somnologist, neurologist, or healthcare professional. I am a 47-year-old man who has spent years battling chronic insomnia, sleep onset latency issues, and early morning awakenings.

What you read on this site is biohacking, not medical advice.

How I Create Content:
This website is a comprehensive compilation of:
Personal Experience: My n=1 experiments with gadgets, supplements, and protocols.
Scientific Analysis: I review the latest meta-analyses, clinical studies, and medical papers (PubMed) available as of 2025/2026.
Community Consensus: I am an active participant in major sleep forums (ApneaBoard, SleepHQ) and relevant Reddit communities (r/sleep, r/UARS, r/biohackers, r/insomnia). I aggregate data on what works for the majority of real patients, identifying patterns that clinical trials might miss or haven’t tested yet.

My goal is to synthesize this scattered information into a coherent resource. I bridge the gap between dry medical text and the chaotic anecdotal evidence found on forums.

2. Consult Your Healthcare Provider

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this website.

Supplements & Medications: Supplements like Ashwagandha, St. John’s Wort, or even Magnesium can interact with prescription medications. Always verify safety with your doctor.
Diagnostics: My guides on reading O2Ring data or sleep stages are for educational purposes. Only a certified sleep specialist can diagnose Apnea, UARS, or other sleep disorders.

Use Night Time Comfort as a tool to have a better conversation with your doctor. Use my research to ask informed questions, request specific tests, or discuss alternative therapies, but never use this site as a replacement for a medical consultation.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (Text)

To maintain the high volume and structure of the guides on this site, I utilize Artificial Intelligence to assist in drafting and formatting articles.

However, I am the researcher and the editor.
I personally gather all source materials, study data, and community feedback before a single word is written.
I personally review, edit, and fact-check every piece of content generated to ensure it aligns with my personal experience and the current scientific consensus.
I strictly filter out “AI hallucinations” (invented facts).

The voice you hear is mine, the logic is mine, but AI helps me type faster so I can spend more time sleeping and researching.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence (Images)

The illustrations and visual assets found on Night Time Comfort are created using the paid version of NanoBanana AI. These images are artistic representations intended to visualize concepts (like sleep architecture or supplement metaphors) and should not be interpreted as medical diagrams unless specified otherwise.

5. Financial Independence & Product Reviews

Integrity is the only currency I have.
I do not sell products. You will not find a “Night Time Comfort” brand supplement or gadget store here.
I buy my own gear. The gadgets (Apple Watch, Muse S Gen 3, O2Ring, etc.) and supplements reviewed on this site are purchased with my own money.
No Paid Bias: I do not accept payment from companies to write favorable reviews. If a product is useless or has poor software, I will say so (as I have with certain EEG headbands and “stress-relief” devices).

My loyalty is to the quality of my sleep and yours, not to a manufacturer’s marketing department.

6. Advertising Disclosure

You will see advertisements on this website (provided by Google AdSense/etc).
These ads are placed automatically by Google’s algorithm based on your browsing history and region.
I do not manually select these ads, nor do I endorse the specific products or services that appear in these banners.
Please evaluate any advertised product with the same skepticism and research you would apply to anything else.
